Backdoor Pipeline is known for massive, frightening waves and long tube rides by the world’s best surfers. On this day though, Kai Lenny had a playful windsurfing session there showing the less threatening side of the spot. And in between he swapped boards with his brother Ridge for some turns on the surf board, too.
The Hawaiian winter has fully kicked in just yet, closer to summer time conditions. We make the most of what we have and today it was Windsurfing at Backdoor Pipeline on a less the threatening day lol. Always fun to ride different boards at different spots. Kai Lenny

Absolutely not, in a few moments everyone can see windsurfing and surfing in the same place, beautiful water, inviting conditions and smiles out of the water and above all a lot of talent. This is the best video and this is my impression, free and sincere.
