On January 24, 2025, Storm Herminia hit Brittany with wind gusts of up to 130 km/h (81 mph), creating the perfect playground for storm-chasing windsurfers. Thomas Traversa embraced the challenge, taking on two intense sessions—one in northern Brittany with wild winds and another at Île aux Vaches with slightly calmer conditions.
Once again, Thomas proves why he’s a master of heavy conditions. His ability to read unpredictable big wave sets and position himself perfectly is unmatched. Living the true windsurfing spirit, he roams the coast in his old caravan, chasing winter swells and searching for the biggest wave faces to hit. Respect, Thomas!
