The French 2014 Windmeet freestyle tour had its first tour stop at at the “Mondial du Vent” at La Franqui, Leucate. The four days of competition have been tough for the staff and windsurfers with Tramontana wind blowing up to 55 knots. 26 of the most talented French freestyle windsurfers were there, including Antony Ruenes, Adrien Bosson, Julien Mas and local Nicolas Akgazciyan.
With Julien “Wesh” Taboulet as the sports director, three dingle eliminations got completed a jumping competition with a ramp and a kids session, with children taking part from 10 to 14 years.
After four days of competition, Adrien Bosson took the victory in front of Antony Ruenes and Nicolas Akgazciyan.
