Swiss waterman Balz Müller had a big freestyle wave session at Playa de Famara, Lanzarote, Canary Islands on April 9th, 2026. The beach is located at the northwestern part of the island and swells can hit the long bay quite well. It’s well known for surfing. This time Balz sails out on his windsurfing kit – a strong wind from western direction hit Lanzarote – and lands his full repertoire of freestyle tricks in waves or on the faces of the waves. Wave freestyle is so refreshing! The Swiss creator is such a mastermind and gives windsurfing the extra piece of creativity. His videos are never ordinary and always filled with a touch of freedom and creativity. And it seems like he is the only one out there in the wave arena of Famara.
