3 freestyle moves where the wave is not even breaking, woooow !! Sorrythis is bullshit it is not waveriding Koster or can do the same but at least they use the wave a little bit… Moritz is a great waverider, he proved it last year in Tenerife with some very big turns, but this is pure freestyle. Easy, easy, my friend. Let us apply the art of distinction. Watch the clip again and try to pay attention to things such as where Moritz is performing his moves on the wave/where he is taking off from. In move no. 1 he is climbing up the face of the wave, going against the wave, when initiating the move and executes it on the lip, and rides down for a bit reverse. in move no. 2 he is taking off from the lip, then hovers above the lip, like during an arial off the lip, and lands really nicely just… Read more »

This is completely insane… It looks really stylish and effortless, like mentioned above: “He presents a different and unique kind of riding…” Totally agree 🙂 Curious for the next PWA competitions if he is also working on his jumps on the way outside? On the way in he looks pretty dangerous already what we saw on Cont7 the last weeks.

Really good riding from Mauritz, for sure he will be one of the top contenders in the PWA the coming years, especially if the onshore-bias is continued. He presents a different and unique kind of riding than what is usually associated with Pozo
