Tony Mõttus, who moved from Estonia to My Hoa, Phan Rang a few seasons ago, released a clip with action from the winter 2019/20 at Vietnam Surf Camping. The camp is growing. There are a lot of riders in that video, who show great freestyle skills: Davy Scheffers, Alexander Much, Kiyo, Amit Markman, Hernan Quevedo, Anton Oqvist, Nils van den Hoven, Michael Severin Fallent, Olli Anderson, Piotr Majcher, Martin Anja, Jan Wiesner, Steffen Adrians, Tammo Adrians. It’s good to see so many riders having fun and enjoying their winter sessions far from home. And another good news: even the current crisis didn’t hit the region too bad. Tony Mõttus: “I have made a recap from Vietnam Surf Camping winter 19/20, action filmed before the lockdown. What an amazing winter it was – from mid November until end of February. It was windy and wavy basically non stop. The wave consistency between mid Nov till mid Jan was something we had not seen before. Videos with waves will come soon too. And yes, everything is fine at the moment. At least we are able to move open doors and keep active in camp area. Windsurfing in the main lagoon is not allowed at the moment though.”
