Our good friend Pascal Lefebvre, who has been living for many year in Vietnam and has built up a local water sport scene at Mui Ne and at neighboring spots, ran the 15th Vietnam Funcup. He already organized a PWA event back in 2011, when the world’s best freestylers and Slalom racers were competing in front of the Jibe’s Windsurfing Center and Fullmoon resort. Now in 2015 the Vietnam Funcup has its 15th anniversary and saw great conditions, an action packed Slalom event, happy competitors, spectators and international winners.
Lucy Odillo Maher from Australia, who is a Vietnam resident and Spaniard Albert Pijoan Monne, who normally competes on the PWA wave tour and currently works at Mui Ne, won the Fun Slalom. Most of the comeptitors were competing on freeride sails and freeride boards. The winners received a board as first price, what is quite cool!
