Talentschmiede is an initiative for young windsurfing talents created by the German windsurfer Florian Jung. The project is supporting 10 upcoming windsurfing talents in the age between 12-23 years, to give them a chance to get one step closer of being a windsurf-pro. One week of training, photo-shooting and coaching, guided by an expert crew including windsurf pros like Flo Jung, Boujmaa Guilloul or snowboarding Olympic gold medalist Nicola Thost.

Flo Jung: “From the 17th -24th of April we finally realized the first “Talentschmiede” windsurf camp in Sidi Kaouki/Morocco. We were really lucky with the forecast and scored a week with epic conditions. It was great to sail with all these motivated youngsters and support them with some simple advices. Every day the level got pushed a bit higher and it was a great feeling to see how fast they progress. At the end of the week we organised a little competition in hardcore condtions with wind arround 40 knots. Nico Prien (17) from Germany won the wave ranking, Fabio Tribondeau (18) from Austria won in the freestyle and David Jeschke (19) got voted as “Talentschmiede rookie of the week” with doing the most radical suicide moves all week long.”
