Victor Fernandez & friends at Caños de Meca

A strong Levante storm hit the area of Tarifa and the coast around Caños de Meca. Victor Fernandez and some of his best windsurfing friends, Nacho Rocha, Guillermo Alba, Maki Diaz, Miqueas, Ivan or Ale enjoyed great wave riding conditions at Canos de Meca, Spain. Thanks to Ben Welsh who captured some of the action and produced the video “Extreme windsurfing”. Victor seems to be well prepared for the first wave event of the season in Pozo Izquierdo, which will start on July 8, 2017.

Victor Fernandez: “I did a quick trip from Almerimar to Canos for two good days of Levante as I thought it’s a great training for Gran Canaria and I wanted to visit my friends of Cadiz. Wednesday was the strongest day, specially in the morning as I was very overpowered on my 3.4m. The evening session was great on 3.4m. That day was the strongest day I have sailed this year so far. I love windsurfing on days like that to see how far I can go on my moves. Now I am back home and ready to go to Gran Canaria on the next weekend.”
