Tomer Shammer (ISR-13) is a young talented wave windsurfer from Israel, who spent all the summer on the Canary Islands. He participated in the Tenerife World Cup and improved his windsurfing so much. The 21 year-old Israeli is definitely a new young face in the wave sailing scene. Israel has a few good wave windsurfers. Let’s mention Arnon Dagan or Eyal Shelef. Yarden Meir or Dudu Levi, who do well in waves, too.

Effort pays off and practice makes perfect. Tomer learnt a lot of moves and pushed his level spending hundreds of hours on the water. Watch his video “RELOCATION”, which shows him ripping in 35+ knots of wind.

Tomer Shamgar: I spent the last 4 months on the Canary Islands, especially in Pozo Izquierdo with the goal to improve my level of riding waves. I windsurfed almost every day and pushed hard. This was my fourth time visiting one of the most windiest places in the world – Pozo Izquierdo!
The very well known spot offers a great combination of wind & wave conditions and makes it a perfect location to practice windsurfing, especially big jumps, air moves and loops.
