I would just call this a double spock. Normally double spocks are one-handed anyway. I mean, technically we could call this a spock into bob OH 540 or a spock into spock 540 OH or a double spock OH, but who really cares about the one hand? Where’s the difference to the Doublespock?
@schattensurfer The difference is how you position your body towards the sail. I guess it helps to watch a Bob only. For this move you duck the sail first and in a Spock turn around your mast from normal stance. But of course it looks a bit similar as both moves are rotations towards the leeward side. Hope this helps!!
@schattensurfer and everyone who read this: perhaps it’s just nonsense, what I ‘ve written and a Spock into Bob doesn’t exist. Just confused by the analogies of elements in freestyle maneuvers. So we decided to change it to Spock into Spock 540° oh.
nah, chris you`re right from a technical point of view it 100% a Spock Bob. I think that move was invented before the bob though, therefore the name double spock. I am still pushing for the name spock bob though! Sounds better and describes the move better! Get it into the Tricktionary !!!!
