Italian windsurfer, moderator, windsurfing coach and IFCA Slalom World Champ (GM) Roberto Hofmann (54) still loves to loop: “During my windsurfing clinic in Porto Pollo (Sardinia) we had some pretty strong and very gusty east winds. My student were waiting for the wind to drop so I entertained them with throwing a few Speed Loops. Speed Loops always makes the students happy! So I made 6 Speed Loops in 10 minutes to give max entertainment. I started doing my first Speed Loop on Lake Garda in 1988 when I worked as an instructor at Hotel Pier… so it’s more than 30 years I’m doing loops!! I still love this move!!”
