Here’s a cool video of Ricardo Campello about his trip to Cabo Verde. It was a return to an island, which has been developed a bit more since his last trip to Sal and it was a comeback of the PWA World Tour in the wave discipline. The PWA returned to Cabo Verde for the 5th time and saw their first results in the wave discipline since the start of the pandemic in March 2020. It was long period for all pro riders and not an easy situation to compete in difficult conditions. The event was also scheduled at very short notice and the preparations were difficult for everyone. Ricardo lost his second round heat in the single elimination, but fought back in the double elimination winning two heats. In the end he made it in 9th place (a shard one with event organizer and former World Champion Josh Angulo).
