Ricardo Campello presents some of his best moments from the PWA Tenerife World Cup 2019, where he finished in 4th position. Unfortunately Ricardo suffered an intense bone bruise at his heel landing a massive double Forward quite hard in the quarter final heat against Alex Mussolini. In the following heat, in the semi final against Jaeger Stone, he lost by 0.29 points difference only, and missed out to qualify for the winners final. In the losers final he lost against Philip Köster, but had a lot of pain in his heel. Ricardo leads the overall ranking after two events ahead of Jaeger Stone in 2nd and Philip Köster in 3rd.

“As you might know we only had proper wind and waves on the last day of the competition in Tenerife. Here are some of the best moments filmed during the competition! I was feeling really comfortable on the water, but on the semi finals I lost to the winner Jaeger Stone. I am happy to still lead the PWA World rankings.” (Ricardo Campello)

Keep in mind that he had the highest wave score with 9.88 points and the best scored double Forward with 9.27 points in the whole event. He as well had the highest heat score of 25.62 points counting 2 waves and one jump.

Ricardo already recovered from the bruise and lands Tabletops into Forwards off the wave in Pozo Izquierdo. The move looks quite stylish!! So far everything is looking good for the 3 times freestyle World Champion to win his first Wave World title. Two more events are on the plan: Sylt & Maui. There will not be a discard this year. All 4 event results will count for the overall ranking.
