Today was the first day of the PWA Reno World Cup on Sylt. This event marks the seventh and final tourstop on the men’s slalom and freestyle tour, the fourth event on the men’s wave tour and the third stop on the women’s wave tour. From the 23rd of September to the 2nd of October the sailors will be spinning, flying and going full throttle for a taste of the €105,000 prize money and those super important end of season world ranking points, that will determine once and for all on which place the sailors finish.
After the registration at around 16.00 the obligatory opening took place at the “Sylter Musikmuschel” and all the sailors where swinging their flags.
