From the 12th to the 18th July the best female and male wave sailors will once again rip the waves at El Cabezo, El Medano, Tenerife. El Medano is situated on the South East coast of Tenerife, just minutes away from the airport and is an ideal windsurfing village, as it delivers several spots to launch. Cabezo is probably the most tricky one and the waves are excellent for jumping and waveriding. The forecast looks amazing. All red and purple at Windguru. Check it out!

We can expect seven days of intense wave sailing supremacy, as the most radical sailors in the world resume battle and fight it out for the €50,000 prize purse, as well as those crucial world tour points. After the amazing show in Pozo, we can expect to see more of the same radical action as the title race hots up. It´s the second tourstop in 2012. For sure the big names like Köster and Fernadez are the favourites for the victory again. But Dany Bruch and many other sailors will fight hard to avoid this. In the ladies category the Moreno twins are the ones to beat.

We are right now on the way to Tenerife. The ferry boat surfs the big swell at the eastcoast of Fuerteventura. We recharged our batteries at Fuerteventura, had a nice windsurfing session and will be ready to report from the beach of EL Cabezo from tomorrow on to keep you updated on continentseven.com
