Tomorrow is the first day the PWA Slalom World Cup at Costa Brava, Spain. Some slalom windsurfers used the good conditions for a little warm-up session yesterday. The wind arrived around midday from south western direction and picked to 12 to 20 knots. It allowed all riders to test their gear. Most of them were on 8,6m sails and their big boards. Josh Angulo was the first one on the water. “I prepared well back home in Boston and as well had a good time on Cape Verde. I am looking forward to the first event of the season! Today I am testing my setups togetehr with my team mate Pieter Bijl.”

Antoine Albeau, Julien Quentel, Arnon Dagan, Ross Williams, Ludo Jossin and many more had a windsurfing session in front of the La Ballena Alegre camping. Let’s hope for excellent wind conditions and a lot of exciting Slalom eliminations during the upcoming event. The forecast is excellent! There is a chance to get strong Tramontane wind. We all remember the unforgettable high wind conditions during the 2011 event with gusts up to 50 knots.
