On the final day of the PWA Slalom Costa Brava, the elimination 8 could be finished. The windconditions were on the limit, 7 – 10 knots. But this gave the light wind specialists an advantage. One of them is Lake Garda local Alberto Menegatti (ITA-4), who took advantage and won race 8. He could beat Björn Dunkerbeck in an exciting final heat and could keep off the multiple worldchampion on the first leg and went in first position into jibe mark number 1. From this moment on, he was leading the race. Congratulations. It is good to see fresh faces on top.
