The wind was massive today. We saw a lot of flying water and wild moves a swell. Philip Köster, the super talent from Vargas, made the impossible possible and also won the final of the double elimination against Victor Fernandez, who could beat Ricardo Campello, who was sailing extremely on form. He could win 5 heats, but the spanish top sailor Victor Fernandez stopped his run with incredible waveriding in 40 to 50 knots of wind.

In the final Philip Köster proofed his qualities having massive airtime. He went for double forwards, even stalled, extreme Backside 360° the way in and a tweaked Pushloop into forward. Victor sailed great as well, but could not keep up on the jumping with the new hot shot! Congratulations to Philip and Victor!

In the ladies double Karin Jaggi fought back, faced Nayra Alonso and defeated her. In the heat afterwards the swiss top wavesailor got beaten by local Iballa Moreno. In the final we saw the two twins battling it out. Iballa went for a double forward and lost her gear. The board and rigg got splitted by the crash and she had to continue the final on a too big sailsize. Daida sailed consistent and made the best in 45 to 50 knots on 3,0 m.

Congratulations to Daida, who confirmed after the final that she will continue her career for many more years!! Congrats also to Iballa, who fought very hard although loosing her gear in the massive storm.
