The first Frestyle Single Elimination of the this year´s Fuerteventura Grand Slam got finished in really windy conditions. Sarah-Quita Offringa and Gollito Estredo, the 2008 freestyle world champions, convinced the judges and were announced the winners. Today the 4 best moves out of the first 7 were counted on each tack.

 Daida Moreno and Sarah-Quita, the two finalist had a hard time with the really strong gusts, but still the final was very impressiv. Sarah Quita Offringa sticked moves like an Airflaka, Kono, one handed Ponch, a Funnell, the full new school programm. But Daida had as well an answer and showed for instance a Goiter, Forward Loop, a smooth Flaka diablo, Spock, Clewfirst spock. The women´s losersfinal was won by Yoli de Brendt against Iballa Moreno. Yoli landed for instance a clewfirst Puneta, Eslider, Shoveit and a nice Spock 540.

The men´s final was clear in the beginning. Gollito opened the final with impressive moves, while Marcilio started his heat with a crash. You could see, that he needed some time to find his concentration again, but then he started his programm as well. Marcilio landed an Air Funnel, Culo, Air Chacho close to the beach. Gollito landed a massive fully planed Forward loop and an incredible Toad on the way out and he had as well more moves on the list on the way in.

Later in the afternoon the double elimination in the men´s category got started. The ladies got released. Some riders, who had disapointing results in the single, fought back in an incredible way. We should mention Taty Frans, who sailed incredible and could win 3 heats in a row. As well Andraz Zan, Phil Soltysiak and Quincy Offringa impressed with a great show.
