After patiently waiting four days, the pros were finally unleashed on Day 5 in what proved to be one of the windiest days of the PWA Gran Canaria Wind & Waves Festival ever with gusts of well over 50 knots being recorded. At the end it was Daida Moreno and Victor Fernandez who had rightfully claimed their places on the top of the podium.
Bartek Jankowski, who lives on Tenerife, decided to come to the event to cover the extreme action.
