Pepe Krause is 12 years-old, lives in in Squamish BC/Canada. Pepe, who has German roots speaks several languages and can land brilliant Forward loops in Pozo Izquierdo. His father Stephan, who is a passionate windsurfer, too, travels with Pepe around the globe. Pepe is definitely an eye catcher on the water: still little, but powerful.

The following video shows Pepe in action in Pozo Izquierdo, filmed during the Gran Canaria Wind & Waves festival. He windsurfed with his friends Tobias Björna, Carlos Kiefer-Quintana, Julien Flechet, Marc Alonso, Liam Dukerbeck and Ricardo Campello. Pepe is a big fan of Ricardo and also gets a lot of support from the world champ on the beach. And it helps. Pepe finished in 2nd in the age group U13. One week before the competition Pepe began training his forward loops and in the first heat of the competition he already landed one! Now he wants to start with freestyle windsurfing, too. That’s a great news Pepe. You will like it! Canada has some nice spots…
