Omar Sanchez left his home spot Pozo Izquierdo recently for two days and travelled to the most north eastern Canary island of Lanzarote. There he sailed at the world class wave spot Jameos del Aqua and near the airport at Playa Honda. Jameos is a left hander,which can break very clean, even in tubes and is a well known spot for surfing. When the trades are strong the spot can work well for windsurfing. It’s located far east in the remote part of the island. The second spot, where Omar sailed, is Matagorda, located next to the airport, a bit south east of Playa Honda. It looks like the trip was worth to go for. Omar had great conditions during his stay on Lanzarote.
