“Free in the sea” is a pretty nice video recap on Olya Raskina’s 2014 year filmed by her boyfriend & photographer Kirill Umrikhin and Lena Bam. Olya is a former professional snowboarder and competes now on the PWA Worldtour in the disciplines Freestyle and Wave. And with success. She made it on the podium at the freestyle Worldcup on Fuerteventura last year, gained a lot of confidence and will be a hard opponent for the other top freestyle girls on tour: Sarah-Quita Offringa, Oda Johanne, Arrianne Aukes, Maaike Huvermann, Yoli de Brendt or Heleen Muijsers.
The snowboarding background helps in waves. Olya knows what carving a rail means and can handle even the gnarly fast reef beak at One Eye.
