The third day of the NoveNove Aloha Classic 2016 saw the first action of the pros. Ho’okipa delivered solid conditions and allowed the completion of 6 ladies and 10 men heats. Robby Swift, Levi Siver, Keith Teboul and Leon Jamaer are the first four men, who made it into the top 16 of single elimination. In the ladies fleet the top 8 qualified riders are: Howard, Hauser, Larouche, Nagoshi, Offringa, Wylde, Arutkin and Sato

We saw some surprising results on day 3: Josh Angulo, Josh Stone and Kai Katchadourian didn’t make it into the second round.

And some highlights, too. Robby Naish, who celebrates his 40th competition anniversary seems to be very fit again and won his first round heat. Levi Siver was definitely the rider of the day nailing brilliant Frontside Wave 360s. And a few other riders impressed a lot: Keith Teboul, Graham Ezzy, Leon Jamaer, Kai Lenny, Bernd Roediger and Jason Polakow.
