The 2016 NoveNove Aloha Classic saw big conditions during the single elimination on November 2016, 2nd to 4th. It was a carnage out there at Ho’okipa. Huge pumpy waves made it tricky for everyone, even for the best. We saw a lot of broken equipment and riders climbing over the famous rocks or getting saved by a jet ski. The conditions were really extreme with double mast high sets running towards the shore. Kevin Pritchard won the single elimination in front of Marcilio Browne and Levi Siver.

Ian Boyd, former wave pro windsurfer from California and inventor of many freestyle tricks in waves, produced a fantastic video. Live stream commentator and Simmer team manager Kai Katchadourian had the perfect comments about these days. KP, Braw and Levi explain the monster conditions in short statements.
