Niton is a spot on the Isle of Wight, which is situated about 6 km off England’s South coast. Because of a nice forecast, Jamie took the ferry together with his dog, Fergus to meet Ross Williams at Niton, right by St. Catherines Point.
“This was an average but fun day on the Isle of Wight in the UK. The wind was a little onshore than its usual best westerly direction but the waves were fun and turned out to be a great afternoon. Right now is literally the most fun time to be a windsurfer in the UK!” Jamie Hancock

Thanks, Jamie for answering. Looking forward for more such vids with you and Ross.
Hi Splash, I can’t speak for Ross but I don’t think there is too much difference in which board for a move like the wave 360. I think Ross used both boards that day and was doing identical 360’s.
Juisoo – we just had a better day there with more side shore wind and plenty of sun. JC lives a few miles away and came down straight off the plane from Maui to shoot so there will be some nice shots in the mags soon. We also filmed a little too..
All the best,
jamie
Love that Waveride in reverse at 1:17. BTW if that’s an average day, I envy you…
Nice wave 360 s- which one is better for the move – pocket or da curve, Ross ?
