Tonky Frans moved from Bonaire to the Canary Islands. He now lives on Lanzarote and sails at his new home spot Las Cucharas. At this spot Freestyle and Slalom world cups took place in the past. The last PWA freestyle event took place in 2011.

Two months ago Tony Möttus and Christopher Kalk from Estonia travelled to Lanzarote to prepare for the PWA event on Fuerteventura. And they landed big moves and crashed a few tricks, especially when they went for the Pasko. Christopher Kalk landed a few massive over mast high Shakas and Tony went for great Burners. Despite Tony has a at his right knee in a rail, he is able to land the latest tricks and takes a lot of risk!! Big respect and see you in Sotavento…

Massive Shaka by Christopher Kalk. Respect!!

Tonky sails excellent and shows a nice mix of big air moves like Push Loops and latest freestyle tricks. Watch more than 8 minutes freestyle action from Lanzarote and enjoy the action!!! Tony and Christopher explored the island a bit, jumped from cliffs in natural pool or walked through volcanic landscape on the dry island.

Tony Möttus: “Hey everybody! Lanzarote is slowly finishing and the new roads call. Its been an amazing time here and we gonna enjoy a couple of more ones before we head to Fuerte. This June was packed with wind, specially the end of the month was great! Some early morning sessions with low tide, waaarmm, sick sick! So a lot surfing, chilling and also island touring. The place has been our good friend and we had really nice training. The sailing is back on track again! Alright, that’s it, thanks!
