It is not that often that we get videos from the east coast of the US. This time it was Mike Burns, a 37 year old freestyle windsurfer, who sent us this nice clip from Cape Hatteras and “hats off” to Mike for freestylin’ like a 16 year old.
Mike: “It was a very long, cold winter in New York!!! For some of the guys, the water was still frozen at their local spot when they got home from the April trip to Cape Hatteras!! And for me, with no mid-winter trip to Bonaire this year, the winter seemed longer than ever. Our spring trip to Cape Hatteras every April always delivers great conditions, and this year definitely didn’t come up short. We got on the water on 4.0 or 4.5 about 70% of the days and after a few days of brushing off the rust we managed to film a little bit for a nice short clip. Getting back on the water never felt so good!!!”
