Wave windsurfing pro Miguel Chapuis released some great footage from his trainings sessions in Bolonia, Tarifa and from Chile. The talented Spaniard had a great start into the 2024 competition season. He managed to make it in 9th place in the IWT/PWA World Cup in Topocalma, Chile in April. That’s his best World Cup result in the wave discipline so far. Miguel now rides for Flikka boards and North windsurfing. The equipment change obviously gave him a boost. We wish good luck for the next tour stop in Pozo Izquierdo, Gran Canaria.
Tarifa this 2024 winter season was just the perfect place to train for the upcoming World Cup in Chile. It had been so many years since we had consistent days of wind and waves, so this time I was fully ready to give my all while training in the water, and I have never felt as good as this winter while sailing.
