I’m celebrating Christmas at home in Norway with my whole family. I really like Christmas. It’s actually one of the few days of the year I really NEED and WANT to be home for. Even though I miss the wind. But today it was windy at my homespot! The wetsuit kept me warm, but each time I crashed face first I got brainfreezed with the 5 degrees water we have these days. The new years eve I will spend with my friends and have a nice party in Oslo. My biggest wish for the upcoming year is more peace in the world! My windsurfing wish is to have the opportunity to be 100% professional windsurfer. Go from place to place to train more and compete and don’t worry about work. Only focus on freestyle and slalom.

BEN PROFFITT
We (Justyna and I) are in Geraldton staying at the sunset holiday park… There are loads of windsurfers here… Mostly from Belgium including the freestyle world champ haha. We’ve had some pretty good presents so far in the form of wind and waves and looks good for the next week.
Crayfish and fillet steak for the bbq tonight … Oh yeah and lots of beer. New year we have no plans yet as it depends where the wind is.. Maybe esperance (13 he drive)

JAEGER STONE
This Xmas I’ll be at home in Western Australia. I’ll be around Geraldton windsurfing and will hopefully drive up to Shark Bay for a couple of days fishing on the boat. It’s been a consistent season here so far and it doesn’t look to be slowing down much so I’ll be windsurfing quite a bit over this time. New Years Eve I’ll just spend with my girlfriend Carla at home. We’ve both had a lot of time off work this year so we’re both giving our colleagues some time off and working that weekend. Hopefully it’s not too busy anyway ha ha.

I will be celebrating Christmas in Maui, where I am based now together with friends and family, it’s great to be here enjoying it all. It has been firing since i got back from Chile, wind has been blowing non stop. Plans are the same, sail as much as possible, being healthy and happy, spending time with loved ones and hopefully scoring good waves all around.

SARAH-QUITA OFFRINGA
What’s up Continentseven !!! Merry Christmas and a happy new year! Like last year I’m spending both Christmas and New year’s back home in Aruba with my family. I’ve been on the road for 6 months in a row, so it’s good to be back. It’s been unusually windy here this December and there are some fun waves too! We’ll probably have a nice Christmas breakfast before going for a sail in the afternoon in some nice bump and jump conditions. For new years, last year I fell asleep soon after 12 o’clock hahaha but in return I had the most amazing session early morning on the first of January. Anyway I will have to redeem myself this year and end 2015 with a bang. Most likely I’ll be around the fishermens huts with all our beach loving friends and watch the huge firework show the hotels give and enjoy the New year’s vibe on the beach until the sun comes up, before heading off to a nice brunch near the hotels! Warm and windy greetings from Aruba. And see you in 2016 !

Sarah-Quita Offringa wishes a Merry Xmas!

KEVIN PRITCHARD
Right now I am on Maui enjoying everything. I am so lucky I don’t know how or why but life is good. Christmas here, and New Years I don’t know where I am going to be but it will be fun. I have been having fun with Jake and his family and been enjoying Maui. This time of year here on the islands, it is second to none. The light gets low, the air gets crisp, the feeling of something special rules the air. You can’t really replace it. It gets quiet, people go home for Christmas and New Years, but the core group stays. The sessions at Hookipa get special. The wind is funky, for instance today I sailed for an hour, but it was super fun. The waves get good, the wind gets light, the love of the ocean runs deep. Another great year for me. Cant thank everyone enough for making it happen! See you on the flip side.

ALEX MUSSOLINI
I will be celebrating Christmas together with my family and with the family of my wife in Madrid. After that I will be running an anual race of 8kms which is done every year. For new year, I will celebrate together with my wife in Tenerife, after that I will celebrate another Christmas thing we celebrate in Spain, together with my father in Argentina. All I wish for is health to all my family and friends.

DAVY SCHEFFERS
I came back from my trip to Maceio (Brazil) a week ago so this year I can celebrate Christmas with my girlfriend’s family in Germany. We gonna have loads of amazing foods and a lot of wine and other drinks. The 26th I will be in the Netherlands to spend Christmas with my family and go to see some movies in the cinema. For new year I will be in Rotterdam watching the show next to the Erasmusbrug together with my girlfriend before I fly to Capetown on the 4th of January. In South Africa I will be doing many shootings to work on a new project for next year. My wishes are love and kindness to every single being on this planet. I am a believer of the good and positive and hope one day the entire world will find its peace with no more violence, no more hate and that we can share passion and love together as one!

GRAHAM EZZY
Merry Christmas! This evening I head to Austria for a few days of skiing with my girlfriend’s family. And then I fly to Cape Town for a month of training. I wish that 2016 is a good season for wind and waves all over the world.

BALZ MÜLLER
I don’t celebrate X-mas, I will celebrate 3 months in the warm and sunny Cape Town, and there are many good reasons to celebrate for. I am really looking forward to my B-day on New Year, as by then I’ll probable able to strap my boards again. For know I’m just super happy to walk without crutches, and get some strapless Surfruns in the Cape Town summer. My goals, goals?! Actually I don’t play soccer, but who knows maybe I’ll kick my gear in a Goal-Net. But for sure I plan to try a big list of new freestyle moves and hope to land a few of them, without bad injuries!

VICTOR FERNANDEZ
I will celebrate Christmas with my wife and some friends on Maui. I usually did Christmas in Spain but this time we decided to stay until December 30th, so during New Year we will be in one of the airplanes on the way back home. Merry Christmas.

LENA ERDIL
I am in South Africa for Christmas and New Year. The forecast looks pretty good so I think I will be spending the days on the water and in the waves and then maybe have a BRAI (southafrican BBQ) with friends. I had a blast in 2015 and I hope I will have the opportunity to travel, discover new places, windsurf, surf and compete again in 2016.

DIETER VAN DER EYKEN
This year I will be celebrating Christmas and New Year in Western-Australia again. Although I would love to spend Christmas and New Year together with my family and girlfriend it wasn’t really possible to do this year (without spending a fortune on flights) but luckily I know a lot of people in Australia by now with the big windsurfing community you have here. There is a big group of Belgian windsurfers here as well this year so I will still feel a bit at home! It looks like I will be in Geraldton but in case the forecast changes I might be somewhere else, guess will see.

My wishes for next year is to keep doing what I do now, sail a lot, have fun and push the sport into the media so more people get into the sport! Besides that I wish everyone a lot of happiness and may 2016 be the year your release your dreams like 2015 was for me!

STEFFI WAHL
I’m always looking forward to christmas time. All the hectic is gone at the 24th and there is some sailing or surfing at the horizon. This year we started our christmas holidays one day before christmas eve and already scored a super nice day in Cold Hawaii with a big storm and sailing slightly overpowered 3,3 and 3.6. I love Cold Hawaii in Denmark in this time of the year. It’s rough and empty but with the warm temperatures outside it feels more like spring. We booked a little holiday house to make the best out of the long darkness starting at 4 in the afternoon with cooking, sauna, games and chatting. It seems that it will be windy a long time until new years eve!Let’s hope 2016 will only be stormy on the water and less stormy in general. I desperately wish all of us more peace, tolerance and love.

I spend Christmas at home in Italy with my family and my girlfriend trying to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. I will go into 2016 with more experience and I’ll be more focused. I hope I’ll be able to find the right balance to have a great season in and off the water. I wish you all a merry christmas and a windy 2016.

ANTONY RUENES
I will celebrate Chrismas here at home with my family and girlfriend. For New Years I might go to the moutain in the alps with Tom (e.n. Traversa) and his familly to relax a bit in the moutains and take some fresh air, hahaha. Next year I want to have some sick sailing and competition and be able to push the level, have fun and of course the typical ones health, friends, family … after that rest now, I may go to South Africa to keep on sailing a lot!! And also a big thanks to the photographer Adrian Irvine for this picture. Have a nice Christmas!
