Max Rowe and Adam Sims had a nice freestyle session at Whitstable, UK. Josh Willmot created an incredible nice look with his web clip filming a lot of scenes by a big crane. Out of a film technical view it´s very well done and the clip deserves to be a highlight.
Max Rowe (K-448) has great plans for 2011 and trains hard to achieve them: he wants to make it into the top 16 of the world best freestyle windsurfers. Soon he will leave his home country UK to travel to Thailand and later to Vietnam, where he will prepare for the first PWA event directly on the spot of Mui Ne.

Great clip! What is the song?
Hey Julian, yeah I normally shoot on a quite a flat profile on the 7d to make color correction better in post. However this time I graded the footage using Magic Bullet. I haven’t used it before but it seems pretty dope bit of software!
Yeah very Nice! The Crane is a great tool!
The only thing which is difficult is to get rid of the Horizontal distortion…
You need something like a parallelogram to keep the Horizon aligned while moving the crane up… Is there anywhere a picture of the crane?
But anyway the filming is sweet! Did you shoot with a super flat profile and graded this one or which Picture Style did you use?
@Julian
Yeh that’s the one, we were just trying out the new crane and Josh wanted to have a got at that style of editing. Was supposed to be a small clip just for us to look at and to see how it worked but it’s great to see it got a bit bigger than that and everyone else is liking it as well. Hopefully more soon…
very stylish.congratz!
