Maeli Cherel is a 23 year old windsurfing girl, who was last winter for 2 months in Jericoacoara and Camocim in Brazil, where this clip got filmed. Maeli is French but just moved to Western Australia, where she already found some great freestyle spots as well. “It’s also a great place to improve my wave sailing, which at the moment isn’t so good, especially on the evil tack,” Maeli tells us.
One reason she moved to Australia is to be able to enjoy windsurfing sessions almost every day after work, but Maeli has as well competition ambitions and would like to compete in the women´s PWA freestyle tour some day.
