Dutch windsurfer Maaike Huverman braves the elements and keeps going in ice-cold conditions. In her latest video she shows some great tricks on how to dress up in The Netherlands on a freezing cold day.

Maaike Huvermann: It’s silly season in The Netherlands; one day it’s +24° degrees and the other it’s snowing. Even though April is known for being unpredictable, I really did not expect it to be this cold again. Crazy enough it actually ended up being one of the coldest sessions of the year, apart from the snow adventure in February. The north westerly winds broad a long some snow and hail showers, but nevertheless we managed to find a great pool for this direction and has good fun. Zeeland is great for finding flat spots, for any wind direction there is a pool. After a good session I thought I should match the theme and dress up for the occassion. You know, just in case it turned sunny and I could ditch the wetsuit. You never know in April…
