Lollypop – Maarten van Ochten

Lollypop by Dutch windsurfer Maarten van Ochten filmed during a light north wind session at the Grevelingendam in Holland.

Grevelingendam is one of Maarten’s favorite spots for freestyle windsurfing and he told us: “This spot is great. I remember some years ago we had the whole place for ourselves joined by Steven, Yentel, Taty, Amado, Nik and many more. The spot felt like playing Playstation as we were all stacked with 4,8/ 4,5m2. From flat water right into a steep chop, it doesn’t get much better than that for freestyle. You can really setup your stance before launching into a move… I wish we get one of these sessions soon again, together with the boys. But for this time a light wind retro fun move.”
