Leo Ray has shown up at Sotavento over the last 9 years to train Freestyle and prepare for the summer freestyle highlight event. This year he arrived with some neck problems from Lanzarote, but could recover quick and had a strong performance in the fleet of young sailors. The French sailor Leo, who lives most of the year on Maui and is an expert in wavesailing, had a strong performance, landing many moves like Toads, Culos, Shove it Spocks or Goiters very clean. Many of them are landed perfectly. He finished the PWA event in unlucky 17th position – the conditions were lighter than normal and the Atlantic Ocean really flat compared to previous years. And he returned with very nice video footage, especially clips with mounted cams. Well done Leo! The clip definitely motivates to get out on the water and defintely helps to get several new moves into your head!
