Nascimo Fournier is 13 years of age and his sister Salome 11 years of age. Both are hooked on windsurfing. They spent a few weeks during their summer holidays on the Greek island Karpathos, a hot spot for freestyle windsurfing. Salome landed her first flat water jumps and her older brother improved his skills a lot during their stay. Just watch the cool clip! And it’s definitely cool to see young kids windsurfing. The sport fits younger ages and can keep up with other board sports like skateboarding, snowboarding or surfing.
Karpathos is the second largest island of the Greek Dodecanese islands and well known for its windy conditions. The Meltemi wind can reach storm force during summer. The island has a relatively big airport and good connections from central Europe.
