Josep Pons (E-203) is one of the best local riders at Pozo Izquierdo on Gran Canaria. He is originally from the Balearic Islands, but lives on Gran Canaria, where he runs windsurfing clinics, too. During the 2015 Gran Canaria Wind & Waves Festival he had his biggest success in competition taking second place in the super session just behind Philip Köster.
Josep is really fit. Besides windsurfing he does a lot of other sports and competes in Marathons or Triathlons.
