Fuerteventura local Jaume Coll, who lives in the North of the so called “European Hawaii”, scored some good waverides at Cotillo. The clip has not the best picture quality, but the style of sailing looks fine. Jaume is using the new 2011 Mitic sail from Secretsails, a small saillabel founded on Fuerteventura.
Cotillo is the most western located spot at Fuerteventura´s North shore, which has wind and waves and is well known for an extreme beachbreak. A lot of gear got crashed already in these breaks. You can park up on the cliffs and will have a great overview and the whole bay. Especially with a big North swell it´s spectacular to watch the waves breaking.
