The this year’s IWT OBX-WIND 2018 event was a huge success. More than 200 windsurfers participated in three different disciplines. And the conditions ranged from light warm southeast winds to gale force winds on the second day. There were as well a few international riders taking part, like Youp Schmit, who won the freestyle competion in front of Phil Soltysiak. Phil was quite busy during the 5 days of the event, as he also sucessfully competed in the slalom and long distance race and held a freestyle clinic. Boujmaa Guilloul travelled there to hold a wave clinic and impress everybody with big jumps and some nice rides on day two.
