Frédéric Bonet sent his video made in South France near Perpignan at the spot Pont des Basses spot in Northern Catalunya. Pont de Basses is located at the Canet Plage (Beach of Canet) in the region Languedoc Roussilon and the department of Pyrénées- Orientales, France. Many French sailors are in favor of this spot.
Nicolas Reynes (F-456), a former French race champion, 1st in 2008, 2nd in 2007, 2nd in 2009 and 4th in 2010) performed excellent with the 3.3m sails of his girl friend in 50 knots wind speed! The 30 years old French wave specialist landed save Push loops and nice aerials in side onshore conditions and all the action looks quite easy.
He returned from the last “wave competition” in Bretagne Carnac from the French windsurf championship, where he had to compete in very light wind in less than 15knots.
