The second day of the 2026 Fuerteventura PWA Grand Slam delivered another spectacular show of freestyle with stronger swell and relentless winds.
Maaike Huvermann defeated Sarah-Quita Offringa in a close Single Elimination Final, which was her first win of a single elimination final. Maaike Huvermann was visibly moved by this victory because it was her very first win against Sarah-Quita in a single-elimination. Lisa Kloster completes the podium in third.
In the men’s fleet, Lennart Neubauer edged reigning World Champion Yentel Caers in one of the closest finals and won by just 0.11 of a point. Balz Müller finished third after producing the highest heat score of the event. At the same time this was the first podium finish in a PWA competition for the Swiss waterman.
