Sarah-Quita Offringa and Pierre Mortefon are the winners of the Slalom-X competition at the 2025 Fuerteventura World Cup.

From the 18th to the 27th July, the 37th Fuerteventura World Cup took place at Sotavento. The start made the radical Slalom X format from 18th-22nd July and in the the second half of the event the world’s best freestyle windsurfers took over the spot.

And once again the spot did not disappoint. The Slalom-X men (30 registered riders) completed 12 elimininations and the women (11 registered women) the maximum of 15 eliminations

The Slalom-X discipline is a fin slalom with obstacles. This season the sailors had to jump over the sausage. Last year the competitors were allowed to sail around the obstacle but this year, the jump was mandatory. No mercy, crashes were guaranteed.
