The 2012 PWA Freestyle Worldcup at Sotavento – it was the second tourstop of the season for the men´s freestyle fleet and the first tourstop for the ladies – saw just a few hours with strong wind. Andre Paskowski travelled to the island to work on his latest film project called RAW.
Andre and Manuel Grafenauer spent a lot of time with their cams at the beach of Sotavento to capture all the action. Andre as well filmed out of the water and definitely went to his personal limits.
He did not only work on the RAW clip, but also tried to portrait Gollito Estredo and the other Fanatic/NorthSails teamriders like Laure Treboux, Yoli de Brendt, Max Rowe and Mattia Fabrizi. Gollito won in the end and the storyboard worked quite well for the producers. German Sebastian Dörr edited the whole clip.
Andre told us, that he doesn´t feel well at the moment. He was not able to travel to Brazil to film further footage. His plans are to travel to Southern Europe to continue with the movie project. We wish he will feel better soon and can realise his dreams and ideas.
