This is how Nikodem Merlak kicked off the New Year: with epic conditions right from day one at Fuerteventura’s North Shore. Strong winds, stormy days and heavy rain showed the Canary Islands from a raw and rarely seen side.
We explored several wave spots, scoring great rides on the waves, and also had some solid jumping sessions. Raw, powerful conditions and changing weather made this trip intense, challenging, and unforgettable. Seeing Fuerteventura and the Canary Islands in this wild, storm-driven version was something truly special.
