FPT Paros 2025 Day 1 Highlights

The Freestyle Pro Tour (FPT) is back on the Greek island of Paros. This time only a Pro Men’s fleet will take to the water. The flatwater windsurfing paradise of Pounda Beach is set to deliver the ultimate freestyle arena. And already on day one the spot did not disappoint.

Thanks to the nuclear Meltemi winds delivering a steady 30+ knots from early morning until sunset, a full single elimination got completed on the first day of the event. The freestylers used their 4.0 and 4.4 sails. Standout battles throughout the day included Round 1 showdown between Bodhi Kempen and Sokratis Saraliotis, Lennart Neubauer’s showdown against Takumi Moriya, a Sardinia finals rematch between Yentel Caers and Jacopo Testa, and a high-flying finals heat between Yentel Caers and Lennart Neubauer. As the sun set behind Antiparos, the ladder was complete — but the fight is far from over. With a massive prize purse on the line and a double elimination still to come, the level is only going up from here – and it’s all to play for tomorrow.
