The 37th Fuerteventura Windsurf World Cup 2025 (18th to the 27th July, Sotavento) is in full swing. The event kicked off with the Slalom X competition and since July 23 the freestyle windsurfers have been competing. 8 ladies and 32 men will battle for the places on the podium.
The freestyle competition started right after the registration and first skippersmeeting. The best 3 moves out of 7 counted on each tack. The heats were 8 minutes long with two minutes of transition. After a long day on the water Sarah-Quita Offringa and Yentel Caers won the single eliminations. The competition is not finished yet, the double eliminastion is still to come.
