Wilhelm Schurmann commented on the World Championship site:
“I have been in Puerto Rico on several occasions, both for Formula and Slalom competition. The sailing conditions are very very nice, warm crystal clear waters and 10-25 knots breeze every time I went. The island has a Caribbean and Latino beat to it, and mixed with friendly people and great organization, should make it a remarkable Formula World Championship.”

We welcome Wilhelm and the Brazilian Armada to our warm waters! They will make these Championships a very competitive event.
