German Felix Volkhardt (19) is a young talent in freestyle windsurfing. He lives in Tönisvorst (NRW), Germany and the closest windsurfing spot is Brouwersdam, which is a two hour drive from his home. We saw Felix competing in Brouwersdam at the EFPT Dam-X event and were impressed by his power and consistency. After the event in Brouwersdam he travelled to Brazil and returned with a nice video. We are pretty sure that we will see a lot more crazy moves from Felix in the future. He could be one of the next young Germans, who will make it in the top rankings. Well done Felix!! Felix has big goals. He wants to compete in the EFPT tour in 2018 and actually looks for sponsors.

“I was in Brazil, Jericoacoara the last two months for training and improving my freestyle windsurfing skills and I made a little video about it. I like the spots. It’s windy and you can windsurf in lagoons on flat water or in medium sized waves on the open sea.  In the video you see me training at Jericoacoara, Praia do Maceiò and at Lagoa Grande. It was a super nice trip with meeting a lot of new people and spending a lot of time on the water windsurfing with friends like Maaike Huvermann, Alex Mertens, Max Brinnich, Theresa Kellner, Oda Johanne Stokstad Brødholt, Hakon Skorge, Philip Soltysiak, Jo Reitberger, Arrianne Aukes and many more!” (Felix Volkhardt)
