@splash @FanboyDave Jonas Ceballos is full time working, but was competing at several events since he retired from the PWA tour. In 2014 he participated in the trials at the Pozo event 2014 and qualified for the main event using older gear. Jonas and Ele are related. Let’s see. if both will go for the trials at Pozo this year. It’s always great to watch them one water. They have so much control and airtime and know their home spot so well!

Well as far as i know he decided to stop competing a few years ago and only free sail for fun due to sponsors etc. Then you would see him on his old gear sailing in pozo when the conditions were right and guess what: of course he’s killing it like its nothing!! I think he even did one of the pozo comps and still did pretty well. Maybe some sort of comeback in the making? Would be great, such a humble and great guy + stunning Talent. What about Jonas Ceballos btw, he disappeared somewhat ? He and Ele are brothers, aren’t they ? Still remember his atmospheric backloops with railgrabs…..There is nothing like airtime.
